In the far reaches of darkness
her soul lurks
waiting for a glimpse of the light..
trembling heart
she ventures to the edge of the shadows..
peers into his eyes..
with longing he cannot see..
with tenderness he somehow misses..
for he has owned her heart so long..
he never even knew..
sometimes when he touches her
when they make love..
she feels they are
truely one..
it is such heaven..
But when he leaves her
he takes a part of her with him..
and she is alone again..
